The SHTCM International Student "Good Student" Scholarship is awarded to full-time degree-seeking self-funded international students enrolled in the International Education College.

I. Scholarship Types and Review Standards

(1) Grand Prize: 1. Complete over 90% of required and elective course credits of the academic year per the guided teaching plan. 2. Rank first in the college by average GPA, all courses passed, GPA no lower than 3.3. 3. Reviewed separately for Chinese-taught and English-taught classes. (2) Academic Excellence Award (1st: 1 place, 6,000 RMB; 2nd: 2 places, 5,000 RMB; 3rd: 3 places, 4,000 RMB): 1. Complete over 90% of required and elective course credits. 2. Rank 1st–6th in the grade by GPA, all courses passed, GPA no lower than 2.8.

II. Others

(1) Students enjoying the 201-fund method and Shanghai Municipal Government International Student Type A/B Scholarships may not participate. (2) Students entering the large class are reviewed by the large-class award standards. (3) Transfer students' previous-school grades are not included; they must complete 80% of the grade's annual teaching plan to participate.

III. Scholarship Quota and Amount

(1) Grand Prize: 2 places, 28,000 RMB; the Grand Prize GPA is not counted in the grade ranking. (2) Academic Excellence Award: 6 places each for undergraduate years 1–4; 1st: 6,000 RMB, 2nd: 5,000 RMB, 3rd: 4,000 RMB.

IV. Application Time

Every September.

V. Implementation Steps

(1) After the autumn semester begins, the college calculates each grade's GPA ranking and informs students. (2) Eligible students submit materials to the International Student Office. (3) The office reviews submitted materials. (4) Reviewed materials are reported to the college and approved by the university. (5) The award list is publicized.
