Guizhou Normal University International Student Scholarship Application Guide 2026

In order to encourage more outstanding international students to study and conduct scientific research at Guizhou Normal University, the relevant matters regarding the application for the 2026 Guizhou Normal University International Student Scholarship are hereby notified as follows:

1. International Student Scholarship Program

1. Chinese Government Scholarship

The China Scholarship Council (CSC), entrusted by the Ministry of Education of China, is responsible for the recruitment, admission and management of Chinese Government Scholarship students. It provides full scholarships to provincial education administrative departments of some provinces and autonomous regions in China and some Chinese universities, which are used by some Chinese universities to directly select and recruit outstanding young foreign students to study in China. At present, Guizhou Normal University is one of the institutions undertaking the task of training Chinese government Scholarship students, enrolling undergraduate, master's and doctoral students. 2 Guizhou Province Scholarship for Foreign Students

At present, Guizhou Normal University is one of the institutions undertaking the task of training foreign scholarship students in Guizhou Province, covering disciplines such as science, economics, law, management, education, history, literature, philosophy, and art.

3 Guizhou Normal University Chinese Language Study Program (Guizhou Normal University Scholarship)

The program offers Chinese language instruction to students in three stages: beginner, intermediate and advanced, with intensive training in listening, speaking, reading and writing, supplemented by HSK(Level 4-5) tutoring, Chinese traditional culture, overview of China and other elective courses to comprehensively improve students' Chinese language proficiency, cross-cultural understanding and communication skills.

2. Requirements for Application

1. Non-chinese citizen, in good health;

2. Good conduct, no criminal record or bad behavior;

3. Applicants for Chinese Government Scholarship and Guizhou Province Foreign Student Scholarship:

● Applicants for undergraduate programs must have a high school diploma with good academic performance and be no older than 25 years old;

● Applicants for a master's degree must have a bachelor's degree and be no older than 35 years old;

● Applicants for doctoral degree must have a master's degree and be no older than 40 years old.

4 Guizhou Normal University Scholarship Applicants: Should have a high school diploma or above and be 18 to 40 years old.

Iv. Funding Content and Standards

1. Chinese Government Scholarship, Guizhou Province Scholarship for Foreign Students

● Tuition fees: The funding standards are in accordance with the current standards of the Chinese Government Scholarship and the Guizhou Province Scholarship for Foreign Students.

● Accommodation: Free accommodation is provided for scholarship recipients, usually single or double rooms.

● Living expenses: Paid monthly by the school; The standard of payment shall be in accordance with the current standards of the Chinese Government Scholarship and the Guizhou Province Scholarship for Foreign Students.

● Comprehensive medical insurance: Purchase medical insurance for scholarship students in accordance with relevant national regulations.

2. Guizhou Normal University Scholarship

● Full Scholarship: No accommodation fee, comprehensive medical insurance fee and full tuition fee.

● Half Scholarship: No accommodation fee, comprehensive medical insurance fee and 50% tuition fee.

5. Application channels and time

1. Chinese Government Scholarship Applicants: Applicants should visit the "Study in China" website and click on "Chinese Government Scholarship Management Information System" to enter the application system. "Study in China" website link: sign up for an account after a successful login system application.

Application period: 1 March 2026-30 March 2026.

Vi. Other Matters

1. The International Student Admissions Office of Guizhou Normal University will send admission notices to the admitted students.

2. The admitted student must apply for a visa within the time specified in the admission notice and report to the university with all application materials and the original admission materials.

3 Scholarship recipients are, in principle, not allowed to transfer schools, change majors, or change the duration of study.

4. If there are special reasons for not being able to report, a written leave of absence must be submitted to Guizhou Normal University. Scholarship eligibility will not be reserved for those who fail to report within two weeks without reason.
