Anhui Medical University is a provincial key university and a ministry-provincial co-construction university. Since its establishment in 1926, Anhui Medical University has forged ahead through wind and rain and accumulated a profound historical heritage. Entering the 21st century, the school adheres to the motto of "Learning and Practice, cultivating Good doctors" and the school spirit of "Seeking truth, Precision and Innovation", carries forward the glorious tradition of "Loving the country and the people, devoting to human health", and strives to build a high-level teaching and research university.
The university attaches great importance to the education of international students in China. In terms of living facilities, single and double rooms are provided for international students. The dormitories are equipped with bathrooms, water heaters, air conditioners, televisions, refrigerators and Internet facilities. There is a Muslim restaurant, a communal kitchen for international students and a laundry room; Seven classrooms were renovated specifically for international students' teaching and self-study, etc. The good logistics service reflects the international management and service level of our school and has been recognized by international students. There are currently 407 international students on campus, from over 40 countries across five continents. Since September 2013, our school has been granted the qualification to admit Chinese government Scholarship students. Since 2014, seven Chinese Government Scholarship students from Cape Verde, Londi, Bahamas and other countries have been admitted.
