Hainan Normal University is located in Haikou, the capital city of Hainan Province. Founded in the autumn of 1949, it has a long history and is a provincial key university with strong comprehensive educational strength. The university has 25 colleges, 65 undergraduate programs, 19 first-level discipline master's degree authorization points, 21 master's professional degree authorization points, and 6 first-level discipline doctoral degree authorization points, with a complete higher education talent cultivation system from bachelor's to doctoral. The school has about 25,000 full-time students, including about 500 international students, and 2,166 staff members, among whom 1,397 are full-time teachers and researchers, and 714 have senior professional titles. Four postdoctoral research stations and 21 academician innovation platforms have been established. Hainan Normal University began to recruit international students in 1988. The Chinese language teaching building covers an area of 3,500 square meters and houses multimedia classrooms, student reading rooms, multimedia lecture halls, etc. The Chinese Culture Experience Hall, which covers an area of 4,489 square meters, houses traditional Chinese handicraft classrooms, clothing and textile exhibition halls, calligraphy and painting exhibition halls, tea art exhibition halls, Chinese martial arts halls, etc.
