Sun Yat-sen University has three campuses and five campuses with a total area of 9.145 square kilometers, located in Guangzhou, Zhuhai and Shenzhen. The south campus of the Guangzhou campus covers 1.239 square kilometers, the north campus covers 0.203 square kilometers, the east campus covers 0.989 square kilometers, the Zhuhai campus covers 3.571 square kilometers, and the Shenzhen campus covers 3.143 square kilometers (pre-selected red line area).
