China Agricultural University is one of the key national universities under the Ministry of Education, and its president is appointed by the central people 's government. China Agricultural University is the oldest agricultural university in China, with its history dating back to the agricultural university of the Imperial University of Peking (now Peking University), which was established in October 1905 during the Qing Dynasty. The university has two campuses, the east and the west, covering an area of 133 hectares. At present, China Agricultural University has three national key laboratories, one national engineering laboratory, two national engineering technology research centers and 91 provincial and ministerial key laboratories.
China Agricultural University has extensive international exchanges and cooperation, and has established cooperative relations with 209 universities and research institutions in 41 countries and regions. The university has several joint research centers, international education, research and training institutions, and actively expands various exchange programs with overseas universities to cultivate students' international vision and innovative spirit.
